Our sprinkler installation process is fast, efficient and rewarding! Here’s how we get the job done:

Preparation: Don’t worry about upsetting any underground utility systems. We’ll take care of notifying Dig Safe at least seven days prior to the installation. That way, they can come in and mark any underground utilities that we should be aware of during the installation process. At this time, we also contract a licensed plumber to safely connect your new sprinkler system to your home’s main water source and install a backflow preventer.

Installation Day: On the morning of the installation, we’ll be sure to go over the areas that will receive sprinkler coverage, the location of the automatic controller, and the system’s rain sensor capability. Then, the installation begins!

• The pipes are installed with a Ditchwitch 255 SX pipe puller, which is a state of the art machine used to pull pipe underground while causing with minimal damage to your lawn. (Don’t worry, any damage that does occur will be raked and re-seeded!) The benefit of using this machine is that there is no trenching and digging will only be used to secure the sprinkler heads and connection valves in place.
• Sprinkler heads will be connected to the pipeline with a Rain Bird swing pipe, which helps to prevent heads or pipe from breaking when run over by the lawnmower!. This connection also allows the heads to have flexibility to move as the ground freezes and thaws during the seasons.
• All valves will be secured in boxes that are buried at ground level, that way they are easily accessible if system service is necessary.

Post-Installation: Once the sprinkler has been installed our lawn care professionals will go over the system with you, showing you how to operate the automatic controller and adjust the rain sensor and sprinkler heads.
