One of the most festive fall decorations is a scarecrow! Not only meant for Halloween, these straw yard mannequins are a perfect way to add a splash of fall to your front yard! Besides placing these decorative features in the ground, they’re also great addition to secure to structural columns if you have an archway over your over your door! As an added bonus: take some faux autumn leaf garland and wrap it around the stake of the scarecrow. This will add even more of a whimsical, fall touch to your curb appeal!
Finally, the most fall-esque decorative features you can add to your front yard are pumpkins. Although traditional pumpkins are a great decorative feature, faux pumpkins work even better — and will last even longer! If you’re looking for decorative, artificial pumpkins, simply head to your local craft store (or go online) and you’ll be able to acquire some — but just make sure that they’re weather resistant. Once you purchase the pumpkins, place them on the outer part of the steps leading to your front door. This will be a great decorative, welcoming feature to add to your entrance — and will give you that picturesque autumn yard you’ve longed for!
