High quality footwear is also important to keep your feet protected from debris and to allow you to have good footing on unstable terrain.
• Check the weather before you begin.
  The hottest day of the year is certainly not the day that you want to be out in the yard all day doing work. If you do find yourself working on a hot day, make sure to drink plenty of water to battle dehydration and try to stick to shady spots of the yard when possible.
